Lyle Taylor's second-half strike earned AFC Wimbledon a point against Sky Bet League Two leaders Northampton as an entertaining encounter at Sixfields ended 1-1.
The Dons made a bright start with strikers Tom Elliott and Taylor both denied by Adam Smith in the opening 10 minutes while Nicky Adams fired wide from 20 yards for the home side.
Northampton improved as the half wore on and only a fine low save from Kelle Roos prevented James Collins from heading the opener.
The Dons goalkeeper was beaten moments later, though, as John-Joe O'Toole turned home Joel Byrom's corner on the cusp of half-time.
As in the first, Wimbledon made a bright start to the second half with Smith again called into action, this time saving from Paul Robinson's header.
Luke Prosser had a header cleared off the line at the other end but Dons were soon back on level terms when, on 62 minutes, Taylor finished brilliantly after bursting down the left.
Elliott twice went close to putting the visitors ahead immediately after the goal, first having a header blocked on the line before firing into the side-netting.
A frantic second half swung end to end as both sides had chances but neither could find the elusive winner.
