Aidy Boothroyd has hinted that, with the player entering the final year of his contract, he would listen to offers if it meant being able to use any fee for new signings.
Having turned down a bid in the region of £150,000 from Crawley last season it has been reported that their former boss Steve Evans, now at Rotherham, would renew his interest.
The Millers have looked elsewhere for a striker so far however with Daniel Nardiello and Kayode Odejayi signed on free transfers and bids having been made for fellow frontmen Matt Tubbs (Bournemouth) and Jack Midson (AFC Wimbledon).
"If somebody wants to leave they will leave," chairman David Cardoza told the Chronicle & Echo with boss Boothroyd to be consulted fully.
"We will both look at the decision and examine the pros and cons of it.”
