The Cobblers continue to defy the off-field odds that have made it a race against time to save NTFC with a 2-1 victory at Meadow Lane.
They now sit just four points off the lead in League Two and Wilder believes that there could be more to come should the future of the club be secured.
"There's a deal to be done at this club that can make this club challenge in League One," he told BBC Radio Northampton.
"I know the deal. It's got to be done. I've had an enquiry about (striker) Marc Richards from another club - he didn't want to go.
"There have been enquiries about me, too. But I know what we can do at this club. This is not a rescue deal, it's more."
Wilder's impassioned plea made it onto the Football League Tonight show on Channel 5 on Saturday and the sound of silence from David Cardoza is now being questioned from all sides and all parties involved.
