Northampton Town defender Dean Beckwith has praised his side's defensive performances after they extended their unbeaten run to nine games.Ian Sampson's men have conceded only five goals in that undefeated run which has lifted them to 13th place in the League Two table.
"We've done well defensively over the last couple of months," Beckwith told BBC Radio Northampton.
"But we have conceded two sloppy goals in our last two games."
He added: "We need to get back to keeping it tight and keeping clean sheets. If we do that we'll win more games.
"The back five and the midfield have been settled recently.
"That helps you to keep your shape and balance all over the pitch."
Northampton fell behind against Burton Albion at Sixfields on Saturday before Andy Holt equalised to secure a 1-1 draw.
