Three wins in the last four matches have helped the club into a position where play off places are more likely than relegation places.
Alex Russell's peach of a goal against Oldham made boss Stauart Gray a happy man as the club picked up it's first away win of the season.
"That first away win has been a long time coming. We thought it was going to come at Leyton Orient and then at Tranmere but it didn't and we're absolutely delighted to get that first away win," said the Town boss.
"We wanted to get that monkey off our back and I think a few of the lads who were involved in the game here last year wanted to put that result right as well. It was a bit of a scrappy game really and it just needed someone to take it by the scruff of the neck"
