Both teams know that a win is the minimum requirement if they are to keep alive hopes of a play-off place as the season enters its final stages. "They've improved and have more confidence – that's largely down to their management team," Adams, whose side won at Darlington in midweek, told The Sentinel ahead of the Vale Park clash. "It will be a difficult game, but we had a decent game at Sixfields. We've got to combat their dangers and work as hard as we can." Adams has also urged his players to keep an eye on one Cobblers player in particular. He said: "All the reports on (Adebayo) Akinfenwa are that he looks uninterested for 85 minutes and then scores – let's hope he's not interested for 95 minutes on Saturday."
