Chris Wilder remained upbeat after his side's defeat at Plymouth Argyle on Saturday afternoon, praising the Cobblers display and also the recent points haul that has given them unexpected hope of making the play-offs.
That victory for Argyle moved them into seventh place, five points above Northampton but Town now face home games against Tranmere Rovers on Saturday and Carlisle United next Tuesday, both of whom are currently battling against the drop.
And they will be looking to maintain a strong home record which has seen them win 10 of their 17 matches at Sixfields.
