Stuart Gray was delighted with the performance.
"We controlled the game for a good 80 minutes and I was always confident that we would go on to win," he said.
"Every player that played was on top of their game. We have got a monkey off our back by winning our first away game of the season now we just need to push on and pick up more wins at home.
"I was pleased for Danny Jackman. I'd left him out of the team but he's come back in and given a great response. His free-kick looked unstoppable to me."
