Paul Buckle's side are now in fourth place following a Tuesday night win against Cheltenham and will look to continue their momentum on Friday when Northampton are their hosts at Sixfields.
United will however be without midweek matchwinner Ronan Murray as the on-loan Ipswich Town midfielder has been called up for international duty with Ireland's Under-21's.
"It is credit to him he has been called up," said Buckle.
"He will go there full of confidence after getting the winner, he thoroughly deserved the goal and we thoroughly deserved the win.
"I am thrilled with the lads and to be fourth in the league is an incredible achievement. The players have upped their game and we are not only winning games but we are playing some very good football. We could have won by more."
