The game at Sixfields will be a welcome return to home soil after another disappointing defeat on the road at Exeter left Town two places but only one point behind the automatic promotion spots.
Chris Hackett did not feature in that game due to an injury worry with manager Aidy Boothroyd keen to have him available for the run-in.
“I think in the final 10 games he’s going to be crucial for us and I didn’t want to lose one of our best players for any of those games," he told the Chronicle & Echo.
“He will be back and he will play on Saturday against Accrington.”
Saturday's opponents are battling against the drop but will travel in good heart after taking four points from their last two games.
Speaking after the weekend draw with Torquay, boss Leam Richardson said: "We have done enough to win the game but there are still positives to take - like back-to-back clean sheets and that the lads have come together in the last few games.
"If we stick together we will climb the table."
