"A 6 week pre-season programme based in one place can be a slog and quite boring, so Ibiza will give us a change of scene and let the lads work with a bit of sun on their backs.
"The most important thing is to get the conditioning and fitness work into them. We will rotate the squad to make sure everyone gets some football into them on the trip during the two games.
"Every player has a clean slate and every player has to put their hand up and stand out if they want to be selected on August 11th. All the players start from scratch in pre-season and we will see where we go.
"This is my first pre-season trip with the club and I am really enjoying it."
Town play San Hose on Tuesday and Portmany on Thursday.
