Struggling Notts Next for Northampton

It has been another season of turmoil for the Magpies, now on their third manager of the campaign after the departures of Ricardo Moniz and Jamie Fullarton with the latter at the club for just 70 days.

Owner Ray Trew has also agreed a deal to sell County to an American company.

Mark Cooper has been placed in charge on a short-term deal until the end of the season and, after a 4-0 defeat at Portsmouth on Good Friday he made a raft of changes for the visit of Wycombe Wanderers on Easter Monday.

That saw an improved performance and a goalless draw for the home side with goalkeeper Scott Leach in good form.

Northampton were 2-1 winners at Meadow Lane in the reverse fixture in November, Rod McDonald and Brendan Moloney scoring the goals.
