The League Two table makes much happier reading for Northampton Town manager Gary Johnson after Saturday's 2-1 victory over Dagenham & Redbridge.
Goals from Davies and Akinfenwa ensured three points for the Cobblers before an injury time strike from Lee ensured a nervy finish for home fans.
4,274 watched an overdue Sixfields success for Town who travel to Barnet next Saturday.
"I'm pleased to get the monkey off of our backs and it's much better for the players as well," said Johnson afterwards.
"Now we need to go out and get back to back wins, which we haven't managed to do so far, and then we might get into the top half of the table.
"I always send teams out to play good football but if you don't keep the ball against teams like Dagenham you will be in trouble. They get the ball into your box quicker than any other team but our back four and keeper were outstanding today and we won't need to work on defending any corners and crosses into the box this week!
"Both our goals came slightly against the run of play but we've got players in the side who can get the goals when you need them."
