Second Chris/defender on his way out of Sixfields.

The young defender has signed a two year contract and joined Wycombe Wanderers on a free transfer. Although he had a year to run on his existing contract with the Cobblers, he decided that a move to Wycombe was more beneficial after making just two appearances, as a substitute, for Town last season.

Last season saw him finish the campaign on loan at Bristol Rovers. He also spent loan spells at Hornchurch and Kettering during the season. During his time at the Cobblers he made 89 appearances, scoring one goal against his new club in a 4 - 1 win on 6 April 2002.
