Northampton manager Ian Sampson will name an unchanged side for the trip to Bury. The Cobblers have yet to score in League Two this season but Sampson is poised to keep faith with the strike partnership of Billy McKay and Steve Guinan. That means former Darlington striker Tadhg Purcell will again be left on the bench along with Courtney Herbert.
Goalkeeper Chris Dunn has returned to light training in the past few days but will not return from his ankle injury at Gigg Lane so on-loan Spurs keeper Oscar Jansson will keep his place. Winger Liam Davis remains out with his ankle injury but should be back within 10 days but defender Craig Hinton is on the sidelines after a setback in his recovery from a knee problem.
