Northampton Town manager Ian Sampson has warned his players that they will not be offered better contracts even if they get promoted this season. The Cobblers occupy the final play-off place in League Two and have offered new deals to a number of players, but so far only Paul Rogers has signed up.
"I think some of the players will let it drift to the end of the season," Sampson told BBC Radio Northampton.
"But if we go up they won't get a better deal."
He added: "Hopefully I can get some tied down next week which will be beneficial to the club."
