Only two teams stand between Northampton Town and a place in League Two's relegation zone and with Burton Albion still having games in hand on the Cobblers, a run of form from Barnet could spell disaster at Sixfields if Gary Johnson cannot inspire his side to break their winless run.
The Bees are in optimistic mood despite their lowly position having seen Martin Allen return as manager and inspire a two-goal comeback to take a point from league leaders Chesterfield at the weekend.
Allen was full of praise for his side's efforts in that game and will look to engineer a win from Saturday's trip to Burton, a result which could cut the gap on Northampton to just four points.
The Cobblers, much improved in their last two games, travel to face an Accrington Stanley side who still have hopes of a play-off spot.
