Northampton and Oxford currently have different priorities as the Cobblers look to secure their League Two status and the U's eye a play-off place but Wilder, who feels Town have an 'excellent' manager in Aidy Boothroyd told the BBC he was always expecting an upturn in fortunes at Sixfields.

With a creditable draw against Crewe last week followed by Easter fixtures against Oxford and league leaders Swindon, Boothroyd is happy for his side to take on the best League Two has to offer.
"What we have got to do is keep building on that because once you stand still and play the same way all of the time you’ve got a problem and we’re forever looking to improve," he said, quoted in the Herald & Post.
"Don’t forget, this is a team that has only really been together for two months and I’m looking forward to getting to the end of the season. We have got a good nucleus of players on which to build."
