Northampton midfielder Abdul Osman has penned a new one-year deal at Sixfields.
Osman joined the club from Gretna two years ago and has so far made 72 appearances for the Cobblers, scoring four goals.
Manager Ian Sampson said: "I am very pleased that Abdul has signed a new contract.
"He did very well for us last season and played a big part in the successful run we had after Christmas.
"We were always keen to keep him at the club and I am very pleased we have reached an agreement with him.
"He will be vital to the way I want us to play this season and it's good news he has signed his new contract."
