Aidy Boothroyd hailed a 'massive' point for his team after Clive Platt's 78th minute equaliser ended a run of defeats and helped build spirits ahead of another home game next Saturday.
It leaves the Cobblers lagging in the lower reaches of the League Two table but their manager shows no sign of losing his faith in the squad he has assembled and subsequently tweaked over the summer months.
"I am a lot happier even though we haven’t got the points that we had at this stage last year,” he said.
"I’m not trying to be Mystic Meg, but I do see what is in front of us."
