A win would take Accrington above Northampton Town in the League Two table ahead of the Cobblers visit to the Fraser Eagle Stadium at the weekend.
Stanley have not played in front of their own fans since December 20 when they drew 1-1 with promotion hopefuls Wycombe Wanderers.
Northampton meanwhile have made contract offers to two players, Tom Newey and Ricky Holmes.
Both have appeared on loan for the Cobblers already this season with Holmes impressing in recent weeks after his move from Portsmouth.
Left-back Newey's initial time with the club was cut short by injury but he is now a free agent after leaving Oxford United.
