Northampton will assess Joe Widdowson ahead of their home encounter against Southend.
The left-back was forced off with an ankle injury during the second half of Saturday's 2-0 victory over Hartlepool, with Gregor Robertson - who stepped off the bench to replace him - again on standby if required.
Widdowson aside, Cobblers boss Chris Wilder will be tempted to stick with the same side who clinched a first home win since the end of November. However, should he opt to freshen up his XI for a second game in four days then the likes of Alan Connell, Gary Deegan, Antonio German and Ian Morris are available
Skipper Lee Collins (foot) has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
Southend's defensive injury woes continue ahead of their trip to struggling Northampton after loanee Cian Bolger returned to parent club Bolton.
Bolger only arrived at Roots Hall on Friday, joining on a month-long deal, but he sustained ankle ligament damage during his Shrimpers debut in Saturday's goalless draw at York. His swift departure comes shortly after fellow loanee Luke O'Neill's return to Burnley for further treatment on his troublesome thigh problem, while Luke Prosser continues to be ruled out with a calf complaint.
Striker Lee Barnard (illness) will be assessed while midfielder Conor Clifford completes his four-match suspension at Sixfields
