Heath out for Cobblers
Matt Heath will miss Northampton's home clash against Morecambe having been ruled out for between three to four weeks.
The defender sustained a thigh strain in last weekend's 3-0 loss at Mansfield - an eighth defeat in the club's first 10 matches of the season.
Midfielder Gary Deegan and winger Ishmel Demontagnac both return from suspension having served one and three-match bans respectively.
Long-term absentees Lewis Hornby (back), Kelvin Langmead (knee) and Alex Nicholls (broken leg) remain unavailable for selection.
Defender Andy Parrish and midfielder Andy Fleming could feature for Morecambe.
The Shrimps were denied a fifth successive victory in the league against Dagenham by a stoppage-time equaliser last Saturday in a contest which saw Parrish withdrawn after 23 minutes due to a dead leg.
Meanwhile Fleming has missed the last two contests after dropping a wine glass on his foot.
Winger Marcus Marshall is still considered a week away from a return because of a hamstring strain and defender Robbie Threlfall completes a three-game ban. Both striker Jack Redshaw (hip) and centre-back Chris McCready (collarbone) are out until November at the earliest.

***Cobblers Mad Update*** Aidy Boothroyd will have new signing Paul Reid, a former Cobbler, available for selection after agreeing a deal until January for the 31-year-old.
Reid was a free agent after leaving Scunthorpe in the summer and played under Boothroyd at Colchester United.
Boothroyd told the club's official website: "Paul will add leadership qualities, an aggression and some depth to the back line."
