Danny Rose and Luke Prosser could be in line for their Northampton debuts when the Cobblers host York on Saturday.

Midfielder Rose has joined up after leaving Oxford, where he previously played under Northampton boss Chris Wilder.

Prosser arrived on loan from Southend before the transfer window closed and the defender will be considered by Wilder.

Alfie Potter remains out with a rib injury but Lawson D'Ath is available again after overcoming a groin problem.

York's new signing Derek Riordan is expected to be included in manager Jackie McNamara's plans and James Berrett is pushing for a recall.

Riordan played no part in last week's win against Stevenage as international clearance was not received in time, while midfielder Berrett returned as an unused substitute following a knock.

Transfer window signing Lubomir Satka is pushing for his debut but may have to settle for a place on the bench again.

Forward Danny Galbraith is in contention for a recall after stepping off the bench to score the winner last week. Defender John McCombe has left the club by mutual consent and striker Emile Sinclair has joined Guiseley on loan.
