Next year it's New York for Northampton!

Although playing at the Sheffield venue, primarily known for Athletics and Rugby League, has provided Rotherham with the time to build a new stadium back in their home town, few will mourn the fact that they no longer have to travel there.

"It is never nice to go to there and play a football match," said recently appointed Millers boss Steve Evans, who came to the club in order to spearhead a promotion charge at the brand-new New York Stadium next season.

Evans added however: "We want to finish Don Valley with a win and it's important we do our best to attain that."

Aidy Boothroyd meanwhile, while never admitting it in public, must be desperate to get the final fixture out of the way in order that he can dedicate himself to the business of new signings, contract renewals and free agents so crucial to the Cobblers hopes of battling Rotherham at the right end of the league next year.
