Rotherham United travel to Northampton Town for a League Two fixture that has resonance at both ends of the table with the home side only three points above the drop zone and the Millers a further point away from the play-off places.
Scott took charge in time for the goalless draw with Hereford United at the weekend and was happy enough with what he saw, despite the result.
“It was a day when things just didn’t drop and there are times like that; we were so dominant and the majority of the game was played in their half," was his verdict.
"I think the crowd appreciated what they saw. But it was a good starting point although there’s a lot of work to do and we need to be fitter and stronger.”
