With Neal Kitson having had to return to the USA for a short period Boothroyd will look at Connor Roberts between the posts after his recent release by Everton.
“Connor will play at Cogenhoe, and then on Saturday against Chelsea there are two or three names that I am looking at bringing in to see how they go, and to maybe give them an opportunity," said the Cobblers boss, quoted in the Chronicle & Echo.
