The Cobblers have signed Blackpool defender Tommy Jaszczun and Partick Thistle midfielder David Rowson.
Left-back Jaszczun, 26, started over 100 games for Blackpool after beginning his career at Aston Villa.. Rowson turned down a possible move to Aberdeen to join Northampton.
Colin Calderwood has handed a trial to former Colchester United midfielder Thomas Pinault, which could lead the possible signing of the Frenchman.

Derek Asamoah could also be on his way out of Sixfields after Asamoah became concerned his role within the team was just as a substitute. Asamoah rejected the contract offer from Northampton, and could join League Two rival’s Mansfield.
