The former Middlesbrough full-back missed the 1-1 draw at Bury last weekend and the fine Carling Cup win over Reading in midweek with a groin injury but is fit and could start at right-back.
Midfielder Ryan Gilligan sat out the Madejski win with an ankle injury and will be assessed while boss Ian Sampson could make changes after a gruelling 120 minutes in Berkshire. Kevin Thornton starred in a role behind lone striker Tadhg Purcell as Sampson changed his system but Steve Guinan could be recalled if the manager chooses to revert to 4-4-2.
Goalkeeper Chris Dunn is back in light training but will not return from his ankle injury so on-loan Spurs keeper Oscar Jansson will keep his place. Winger Liam Davis remains out with his ankle injury but should be back within 10 days although defender Craig Hinton is on the sidelines after a setback in his recovery from a knee problem.
