Goalkeeper Oscar Jansson has returned to Tottenham after his month-long loan spell at Northampton came to an end. The 19-year-old was brought in as cover for injured stopper Chris Dunn and made six appearances for the Cobblers, including playing an integral role in the Carling Cup penalty shootout victory over Reading.
"Oscar has returned to Tottenham at the end his loan spell," said Northampton boss Ian Sampson.
"He did very well for us and helped us out while Chris was injured. "Chris is now fit again and has done well in the last two games. He is our number one keeper and when he is fit he plays, so Oscar has gone back to Tottenham.
"I would like to thank Oscar for his hard work and commitment and I would also like to thank Harry Redknapp for allowing us to borrow him. I hope he benefited from the experience of playing first team football and from working with Tim Flowers and he returns to Tottenham with our best wishes for the future."
