The inconsistent Cobblers once again came up short at Bradford City on Saturday to leave them floundering in the lower reaches of League Two.
They now face home fixtures against two other sides in the bottom half of the table with Hereford the visitors on Tuesday night before Rotherham come to town next weekend.
Six games at Sixfields so far have produced just one home win and four home goals, a record that must improve in the next seven days if Johnson is to retain the confidence of Northampton fans that he is the man to get them out of League Two from the top rather than the bottom.
