Northampton Town can move into the League Two play-off places with victory at Sixfields this Saturday.
Chris Wilder shrugged off defeat in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy on Tuesday and is clearly more concerned with his side maintaining their good recent form in the league when Hartlepool arrive at the weekend.
The visitors will be smarting after two heavy home reverses, against Bristol Rovers and Luton Town with manager Ronnie Moore calling his team 'shambolic' after the first of those.
Those defeats have left Hartlepool in 17th place in the table although they have still made progress under Moore, the mastermind of last season's great escape from relegation after a bad start to the season which included a 5-1 defeat at Sixfields in September in this weekend's corresponding fixture.
Marc Richards with two, Kaid Mohamed with two and Lawson D'Ath did the damage for Northampton that night.
Update: Speaking of Mohamed, the 31-year-old has this week signed a non-contract deal with Accrington Stanley after a successful trial.
