The South Wales outfit are currently top of League 1 and will provide a stern test for Northampton Town.

Speaking ahead of the match boss Stuart Gray told the official website.

"As a player you always want to test yourself and Swansea are top of the table for a reason.

"We have seen them play and we know they are a very good side. We know that is will be a very tough game but it is a game we are very much looking forward to. No doubt there will be a big crowd there and given the distance involved we know that there won't be too many of our fans there, so the lads will need to dig in, be strong and show what we can do.

"We need to get our league form back on track. We are in a busy run of league and cup games but this game starts a mini run of 3 games in the league against teams who are all in the top four and it will be a very good test for us.

"Swansea is a fantastic place to go and play. It is a lovely stadium and the surface is good and as a player you want to go and perform in stadiums like that in front of big crowds."
