"I don't want to sound negative, but if we finish one position above where we were last season then it will be a bonus and anything on top of that will be even better," said boss Stuart Gray.
"We must stay in this league, first and foremost.
"We've got good competition for places here now and that's very encouraging. We've got a lot of players that can play two or three different positions.
"But games these days often last 95 minutes and in that respect the team that finishes the game will probably be more important than the one that starts it."
