The O's boasted a 100% league record going into the game. Northampton became the first side to earn points of Orient but it could have been better after the Cobblers had held a 2 goal half time lead. But two strikes in six second half minutes brought Orient level and it ended 2 - 2.
"That first victory hasn't arrived yet, but I can't fault the players' effort or commitment in the last three games," said Gray
"We're doing a lot of things right and if we keep doing that I'm sure our rewards will come.
"This is a hard place to come and we're the first team to take a point off them this season."
