With a new contract set to be signed after a season in which his side reached the League Cup final, Bradford City manager Phil Parkinson is pleased with the way his players have returned to training after a long weekend off.
He told the Telegraph & Argus: “We aren’t going to get the players much fitter at this stage so it was important to give them those few days off to rest physically and mentally.
"They’ve come back looking really sharp."
Parkinson's confidence is matched by opposite number Aidy Boothroyd who told the Chronicle & Echo that he is relaxed about the game having experienced a play-off final before.
“I can see the potential pitfalls that lie ahead and the highs that we are capable of achieving.”
