Northampton Town, buoyed by their first win under Chris Wilder at Torquay United on Tuesday night, make another road journey on Saturday as they travel to Fleetwood Town.
The hosts currently occupy a play-off place in a very congested groupof teams at the top of League Two, manager Graham Alexander telling his club's official website: "Our motivation is to make sure we get back into that top three as quick as possible and make sure we stay in there."
Veteran striker Jon Parkin netted in Tuesday night's draw with Wycombe Wanderers while Alexander also has striker Jamille Matt available again after a lengthy injury lay-off.
The 23-year-old striker netted 7 times in 15 appearances up until October.
The Cobblers, meanwhile, saw new signing Emile Sinclair score twice at Torquay and Wilder's transfer whirlwind looks to have given them the cutting edge in attack that has been missing for most of the season.
The new manager's reshaping of his squad continued on Friday when an agreement was reached with Roy O'Donovan which sees him leave Sixfields.
