Holt told BBC Look East: "It's been fantastic. We've not got a result for such a long time, so I could understand the frustration.
"But the fans are right behind us. It's a delight to see them sticking with us - we're trying to do the right things."
Holt is one of the club's longest serving players, joining a year after Ryan Gilligan, and was handed a coaching role under manager Gary Johnson this month Since his appointment, he has seen the team surrender a 2-0 lead against Wycombe and fight back from two goals down against Rotherham.
"Maybe it's a confidence thing," Holt said.
"It's a tricky score. The next goal kills off the game and when we've been up, we've had a chance to extend the lead and we've just not managed to do that."
