Northampton goalkeeper Chris Dunn has backed understudy Paul Walker to take his place at Torquay on Saturday - if manager Ian Sampson fails to land a loan signing. Dunn has been ruled out of the trip to Plainmoor with an ankle injury and Walker is in line to make just his fourth league start.
Dunn told Press Association Sport: "Me and Paul get on well, we have worked together for the last few years and he has got to carry on learning like I did under Mark Bunn . "He has had a couple of games in pre-season which will have done him good. "He has always done well but it is up to the gaffer who will start on Saturday. Paul wouldn't let anyone down but it is not his decision so we will have to wait and see."
