Joining the Cobblers in 1985 from non-league football, Trevor Morley made 107 appearances, scoring 39 goals and was a key member of the Northampton Town successful promotion winning side of 1986/87.
In January 1988 after much press speculation he moved to Manchester City in an exchange deal for Tony Adcock. Voted into the Cobblers team of the Century and remembered as a player who gave everything in all games.
After his time at Maine Road he moved onto West Ham where he spent six seasons.
Trevor was born in Nottingham on March 20th. 1961. In a career spanning 14 years he made a total of 459 appearances, scoring 154 goals. He has now settled in Norway where he is involved in charity work and does some TV summarising.
