Eddie Howe, the 24 year old defender has departed from Bournemouth in a £400,000 move to Fratton Park, joining 1st Division Portsmouth. The move is very untimely to say the least with the Cherries in the thick of the relegation battle and although the cash will be a major boost, the club will have to hope his departure wont cause too much upset to the squad.
Bury on the other hand have taken Blackpool midfielder Phil Clarkson on loan. Clarkson has only managed 1 appearance for the Seasiders all season and should have a minimal effect on the Shakers quest to remain in the 2nd division.
