Northampton will again be without winger Liam Davis for the visit of Accrington Stanley on Saturday.
Davis missed the midweek Carling Cup win over Brighton with an ankle injury and will sit out once more so teenager Michael Jacobs should keep his place. Jacobs started against Brighton and scored so should be handed his full league debut by manager Ian Sampson.
Goalkeeper Chris Dunn is close to a return to training as he recovers from an ankle injury but on-loan Oscar Jansson will start against Stanley.
Centre-half Craig Hinton remains the only other absentee with a knee problem as midfielder Kevin Thornton has recovered from the illness which forced him to miss last weekend`s disappointing 3-0 defeat at Torquay.
