Plenty of rallying cries have been issued in the wake of last Saturday's comeback from two goals down at Southend with assistant manager David Lee and striker Bayo Akinfenwa both believing the result could be an early turning point in the season.
Midfielder Arron Davies has added his voice to those calls ahead of the Sixfields clash with Torquay United.
He told the Chronicle & Echo: "We need to improve on our form at home. We've played well in patches but now I think we need a manly performance - show some guts and determination - like we did last Saturday.
"We're getting a bit of momentum going. The results haven't been there but as players we're feeling it and hopefully we'll get a good result on Saturday."
