The Bees need a positive result against Northampton to ensure their safety in League Two but will also be keeping a keen eye out for results elsewhere.
Their predicament would have been worse had Graham Stack not made a late penalty save against Wycombe last weekend, Barnet's final game at their Underhill ground.
"There is still a major job to complete," said Dutch legend Davids, the Bees' head coach.
"We have improved but if we make another mistake at Northampton then they will make us pay for it."
Potential play-off opponents Burton Albion, meanwhile, will be without midfielder Jack Dyer for the end of season finale after he tore ankle ligaments against Bradford at the weekend.
