Having hailed a 'good week' for his side after their win at Aldershot last Saturday manager Gary Johnson will have been left fuming by the manner of the home reverse against Cheltenham.
Having recovered from the loss of an early goal to lead through strikes from Davies and Akinfenwa the Cobblers were undone by two goals in twelve minutes from the visitors.
4,114 were at Sixfields to see Northampton drop to 17th in League Two.
Reaction: "Obviously I'm angry that we've lost the match but the less I say at the moment the better," said Johnson after the game.
"We need to go over it on Monday and have a look at the footage to see what went wrong."
