Cobblers still missing goalkeeper

Chris Dunn missed the 3-2 reverse at Crewe on Saturday after suffering a knee injury in training, so former Wolves keeper Billy Lumley will continue between the posts after making his league debut at Gresty Road.

Dunn had surgery on the injury on Saturday and is expected to be out for around three to four weeks.

Midfielder Kevin Thornton sits out the second of a three-match ban while utility man Andy Holt remains sidelined with a knee injury of his own.

Striker Steve Guinan is also still out as he recovers from a hernia operation so Billy McKay will continue to partner top scorer Adebayo Akinfenwa.

Ian Sampson's side have lost their last two games after an 11-game unbeaten streak came to an end but a win at Hereford could put them back to within two points of the play-off places.
