The Cod Army's rescheduled semi-final first leg at Blair's former club York City takes place on Monday night after a waterlogged pitch put paid to Saturday night's game.
Blair moved from Bootham Crescent to Highbury last summer but was loaned out to Northampton for a short period earlier this year when Andy King was in caretaker charge and marked his final appearance for the club with a vital equalising goal at Cheltenham in Chris Wilder's first game as manager.
Firmly back in the fold at Fleetwood he said last week: "It's a very big game, not just for me personally, but for Fleetwood Town. To achieve that goal from the start of the season and get promotion would be an incredible achievement."
***Update*** Blair netted the only goal of the game to give Fleetwood the advantage ahead of the second leg on Friday.
