Northampton will not appeal against the red card given to Dean Beckwith in the 1-0 defeat to Cheltenham.
Beckwith was dismissed after 22 minutes at the Abbey Business Stadium after he stamped on Cheltenham striker Shaun Jeffers, but the Cobblers have decided against an appeal as the match DVD did not show the incident.
It was Beckwith's first game back from injury and will now have to serve a three-match ban, meaning he will miss the League Two games against Hereford and Oxford and the Carling Cup last 16 clash with Ipswich.
