Calderwood announces his new arrivals.

Colin Calderwood has completed the signings of defenders Chis Doig and Brett Johnson on 2 year contract, while Ian Taylor and Eoin Jess have been brought in to bolster the midfield.

Doig signed for the Cobblers from Nottingham Forrest under the Bosman ruling. The 24 year old spent a short time on loan at Sixfields back in 2003 and made 9 appearances for the Cobblers.

As previously mentioned earlier in the week, Brett Johnson moved from Confrence outfit Aldershot for an undisclosed fee.

Eoin Jess spent the last three years at Nottingham Forest before deciding to move to Northampton , like his team mate, under the Bosman ruling. Jess, who is 34 years old, made 18 International appearances for Scotland.

Ian Taylor joins from Derby County under the Bosman ruling. The 37 year old spent the last two seasons with Derby making 88 appearances and scoring 15 goals.
