Bury Boss On 'Direct' Northampton

After the recent goalless draw at Chesterfield, Spireites assistant manager Leam Richardson expressed his disappointment for the supporters who had watched the game as he felt Northampton made no attempt to win it.

Now Bury boss David Flitcroft has had his say following the 1-1 draw at Gigg Lane in his first game in charge of the Shakers.

He praised his side for digging in against 'probably the most direct' team in League Two but was disappointed at the way the second half of the game had become a battle.

For Town, however, it means three games unbeaten in the league and only one goal conceded (from a debatable penalty awarded to Bury on Saturday).

Starting next Saturday they face a spell of 5 games in 14 days which could make or break their season.
